Yesterday I met with the training crew from the Tsao Foundation for a planning session, and then gave a talk on dementia to a diverse group from hospital, long-term care and community care settings:
Afterward, we had a small group discussion with members of the Singapore Alzheimer’s Association, Tsao Foundation and a group from Duke University led by Dr. David Matchar, who are working on initiatives for care systems for people living with dementia in Singapore.
Today (Tuesday) is Part II of my talk, and then meeting Dr. Phillip Yap to tour his dementia services at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr. Yap has been using my book in a journal club, discussing a different chapter at each session.
Now that I’m finally down off of the “poison ivy prednisone”, maybe I’ll get some sleep…
